I've asked to talk with Dr. Papp to confirm that he'll sell his pipectrodes so I can include
them in a proposal. Meanwhile I made this sketch...
The early ones may not look this good or have as many features:-)
I'm planning on having it be battery powered by LiFePO4 batteries -- three minutes charging time would be plenty to do a zap.
For safety and not having noise/HV spikes driven into computers, I'm going to have it not fire unless the USB cable is unplugged.
Automation control will come later and be done with $3 WIFI/BLE module radios.
button pushing will be the thing at first.
Since it runs micropython to let you change the zaps to suit yourself, I'm calling it pyzappa, in honor of Frank.
Soon after this is done as a full manual machine, (see the lever on the grip?), I'll be searching for teeny gear
motors to push on a length of tubing for the pipette expel and draw in functions. The it will be an automation tool also.
