I said earlier that this is a feature that has to wait, but forgot to mention a work-around.
Here's an idea that could even become part of the final product, (or a version):
The zapper has a cuvette slot with contacts, and a safety interlock.
Separate physically and electrically from that is a cuvette slot for measuring, and a readout
and sequence lights, and the machine logs the reading as you do a zap. The user moves the cuvette
from one slot to the other to do that step.
In a long batch measuring the conductivity could be left out for all but a few -- there can be a mode setting
for that, or the operator just hits the button to take an open circuit reading and that gets stored as data...
